1978 Mexican Fiesta, 4th section Scottish Championships' testpiece. The band was 4th with this performance:

1979 Winter's Tale, 4th Section Scottish Championships' testpiece. The band was 2nd with this performance and progressed to the 3rd Section:

1980 Mainstreet, 3rd Section Scottish Championships' testpiece. The band was 1st with this performance and progressed to the 2nd Section:

1981 Concertino, 2nd section Scottish Championships' testpiece. The band was 1st with this performance:

More recently, the band competed in the 4th section of the Boosey and Hawkes National Championships on September 19th 1998. After unluckily getting drawn first to play, the band finished 11th out of 17 bands. The test piece was "A Caledonian Journer" by John Fernie and Jane Callow conducted the band.
